Over the past several years, I have been involved in a prolonged business and legal dispute that has required significant time, financial resources, and personal resilience.
I believe transparency matters, particularly when public accusations, financial disagreements, and legal proceedings affect a person’s reputation and livelihood. For that reason, I am sharing my perspective and experience regarding this matter.
What began as a business disagreement developed into years of conflict, including approximately 18 months of additional court proceedings after I declined a settlement proposal that I believed did not accurately reflect the facts or financial records involved.
On May 20, 2026, the countersuit brought against me was dismissed.
Throughout this process, I maintained my position based on the documentation, payment history, and correspondence available to me. One of the primary issues involved disputed payment records and claims regarding amounts allegedly paid or overpaid.
According to the records available to me, total payments made over several years amounted to approximately $400. Following a court direction for ongoing payments, three payments of $50 were made before renewed claims of overpayment were asserted.
I also raised concerns regarding the accuracy and consistency of certain financial documents presented during the dispute. From my perspective, some records contained discrepancies that required explanation and verification. These concerns formed part of my position and contributed to my decision to continue defending myself through the legal process.
This matter has extended far beyond a disagreement over money. It has involved protecting my reputation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that claims made in legal proceedings are supported by reliable evidence.
Court proceedings can be demanding and costly, particularly for small business owners and independent individuals without extensive legal resources. Yet this experience reinforced the importance of maintaining documentation, remaining consistent, and allowing evidence and procedure to guide the process.
I am sharing this statement to provide context, clear my name, and document my experience. My intention is not to promote hostility or prolong conflict, but to speak openly about the challenges of navigating disputes where facts and financial records are contested.
As this chapter closes, my focus remains on moving forward, continuing my work, and encouraging accountability, transparency, and integrity in both business and legal matters.
